July's Design Team work for Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia

This months challenge for Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia, is a gorgeous moodboard, designed by Chloe, for you to play along with!

Hi and thanks for stopping by, this months share was inspired by the XO♡, Colours black & blue, sunnies and flowers. Hope you get a chance to play along this month.

Here's my interpretation using one of my custom designed stencils.
Please message me at Cally B Designs on facebook if you would like to order on or if you have a particular stencil, pattern etc in mind.
I would love to create, personalise, cut and post one out to you.

On my layout I used some embellishments from Rainbow Splendours Bear Necessities kit and some items from Funky Flairs.

Here's a couple of close ups...

The background was created using watercolour techniques, heat embossing with texture paste and gold emboss powder. I also added some hand dotty art around the edges (dotty flowers) to frame the layout. Splats were created with Tim Holtz ink and once dried more dotty art was added to them. Then to top it off i added some sequins.

Thanks for stopping by to see my latest creations.

Lots of fun background happening with the sprays. I got a little carried away. The attempt was to try and replica the autumn leaves with the Tim Holt black . It didnt really work, but it kinda works, so I guess my Layout is REAL not perfect - it works. KWIM?

Photo take at the Farmers Market display for Dancing Stars Toowoomba.

Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia May Sketch Challenge

Here it is folks, the May challenge.

Its a new month, and we have a new challenge!
This month we have this gorgeous sketch to inspire your creativity! Use it as it is, or flip it to suit your needs, just make sure we can see the bones of the sketch! :)

Here is the sketch...

I struggled with this one. I really didnt like the diagonal line and wondered how I could blend my altered cardstock and the dotty paper. In my stash I found a chippie and popped some paint on and dadaaaa it worked.

Products from Charms creations, Rainbow Splendour and Just Add Flair.

Below - close up.
