Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia March Colour Combo Challenge

This month I created a bright and happy layout featuring my youngest grand daughter and my eldest daughter. Hope you like!
You can take part in the challenge too here at -----> Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia Great prizes from Colour Blast up for grabs... You have till the end of the month to participate. Have fun!

Here is my Layout. :)

I have hand stitched the felt.

I chose to paint the feathers and use Stampin' Up ink to create the spills and splats on the background.

I made my own 'Sweet Love and XO stickers which feature in this months
Rainbow Splendour limited edition kit.

Feathers hand painted with white Kaiser paint and dabbed with Stampin' Up inks.

One of my fav embellies at the moment are the Burdys cogs
available from time to time at Burdy's Embellies.

Hope you liked what I came up with this month, it was wonderful to be able to use such a beautiful colour combo.

Show Us Your Stuff's This or That March Challenge

Mid month reveal, and it is my turn up on the Show Us Your Stuff blog.

This month we have a 'This or That' challenge designed by Amanda!
You need to choose 4 items from the 'this or that' list to include on your page - stars or hearts, sequins or buttons, washi or ribbon, spots or stripes! You can include other items, but these must be visible!

Also don't forget to show us your handmade item too! :)

Image may contain: text

This or That - Stars, sequins, washi and spots.

Handmade items...
Rainbow Splendour leaves
Pin and flag
Charms Creations heart
Corbett Creations #beautiful

Layered leaves with foam dots for some lift.

Close up of the stitch and fold technique, I have been wanting to do this for a long time and was inspired by the prettiness of the paper.

Hope you have been inspired with the creation of the 'This and That' Layout!

Happy Scrapping! :) XO

Show Us Your Stuff Mood Board January Challenge

Show Us Your Stuff have a gorgeous mood board just waiting for you to create with.

I loved creating this one. The backgound is covered in acrylic paints and all i did was smear from left to right - sounds easy right? but for me it was a challenge because it isn't often i get messy. I added a few sweet droplets of white as well.

Below: MY TAKE

Hope you were inspired and like my take on the mood board.
Be great if you could pop over to their blog and have a go at this months challenge.

Thanks for stopping by! :)
